Job Overview:

As a Security Analyst at Ignosis, you will play a crucial role in supporting Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) activities, ensuring smooth execution of cybersecurity initiatives. You will be responsible for third-party risk assessments, IT & cybersecurity risk management, and cloud governance to maintain compliance with industry frameworks such as DPDP, SOC-2 and ISO 27001. Your contributions will be instrumental in strengthening Ignosis' security posture and ensuring the highest standards of cybersecurity compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading the development and implementation of the company’s information compliance strategy.
  • Overseeing the protection of company data, intellectual property, and technology assets from cyber threats.
  • Developing and enforcing security policies, procedures, and protocols that align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Identifying and mitigating security risks, ensuring the organisation remains resilient against emerging threats.
  • Ensuring the company’s compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Managing security audits, compliance assessments, incident response processes, and investigating security breaches.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into the company’s IT and business operations.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive compliance program that includes cyber defence, data protection, and security operations.
  • Conduct risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and prioritise remediation efforts to reduce risk exposure.
  • Stay updated on cybersecurity trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance security measures proactively.

Skills & Attributes for Success:

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of security frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2,  etc.
  • Basic understanding of cloud security principles.
  • Experience in risk assessment methodologies (qualitative/quantitative).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in creating and delivering security reports and presentations.

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3 + years of experience in Third-Party Risk Management, Information Security, and Audit & Compliance.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in TPRM, internal audit, or risk management.
  • Internal Auditing ISO/IEC 27001:2013, 2022 certification is preferred 
  • Experience with AI/ML security and Cloud FinOps is a plus.
